I can't make any demands about how BPP does things. But for all of the loyal players that come from near and far to events that BPP hosts and participates in I thought it would be something neat to have a giveaway to only the people that attend each event. A template might be a bit of a stretch but special items or even something a little more out-there such as lore for upcoming games might be something useful. An antendee of one game day might be given information dealing with an adventure they will face the next game day. Not something to give them full knowledge but maybe something that could help them on that one roll that means the difference between life and death… or more importantly… where the loot is hidden!

Let me start by saying we appreciate all the gamers that come to our events, buy our products and support our company. That being said I feel we give quite a bit of loot, goodies and free swag away as it stands. I would go as far to say that we give away more than almost any other game company and much more often. I go to great lengths to try and give you guys new content, spending upwards of 20 hours a month just on free stuff (Free Creatures every month, free templates, free Hooks, Free Adventures, Free game aids and I could go on), rewards and swag. Not to mention our staff working their tails off and taking time off their day jobs running FREE Events ALL last SUMMER. In fact, as it stands we only charge at TPK, that is to pay for the price of the room. Our products are some of the most affordable in the market and we try and give you gamers what you want. At events we give away special certs already and have started giving away prizes for the best player at each table (a fact you would be aware of had you attended our last event). As a company we are more "hands on" than most and even have some of you guys over to our homes so you can play with us.
I'll get off my company soap box now and say that personally I'm a bit offended. I'm not sure how much more I can or really should be expected to give away.

First off, I was not insulting or trying to offend BPP or yourself in any way. If you wish to take offense to what I said then go right ahead as my job in life is not making everyone happy (they don't pay me for it at least) and it was a friendly suggestion asside from what goes on at events and such. As for the last even, which I assume was Archon, I would have attended if I had the money to do so. My favorite thing about the hacktastic events is that they do not cost me an arm and a leg in order to attend. That being said I understand this is a business after all and that is why I made the suggestion that some giveaway could be lore that is only really useful if the player attends the next event (thereby giving encouragement to continue playing) and it really holds little value as far as giveaways go.
I never said any of this had to be on top of whatever is given out already, mearly as something else that can be considered. As an example, one quest could be doing a mission for a martial artist, upon completion, players might get the advanced martial artist template as opposed to a hoard of magical items and loot. And looking at the cost of giving away a few of these at a table as compared to what we normally get I would say it is very equal (most games I have been to give away 1-3 greater magical items and usually a bunch of trinkets and rings to top it off)
Again if you take this as any sort of insult to how things are run then that isn't my concern. As a player I feel it is my job to make any suggestions that I can. And that is all they are, suggestions… I am never demanding anything here at all. In fact about 95% of things that I would suggest to the game I have never mentioned simply because a lot of them would only complicate the game (even if they are warranted) more than it needs to be.

Im sorry man but i agree with Big e. They give away so much. You wont see any other company giving away that much if any thing. BBP is a company for you the gamer not for the money. They give enough, to much really. So just thank them

You say "I don't need to drink to have fun." Great, no one does.
But why start a fire with flint and sticks
when they invented the lighter?
