This month we give you a nasty little undead spirit that makes being ethereal a really bad thing: The Umbral Caress. Use these little critters on your favorite PCs and watch them learn to fear TINY-Sized creatures.

I am not entirely clear on how the Caress Attack works.
Would the Umbral Caress have to attack and injure normally (granting effects of the target being incorporeal), and then just add the Brawn drain to any resulting injury, or is there another mechanism that should be used?

Yes and no: you must first succeed in turning them incorporeal, this is done by getting base to base, hitting as normal, then besides the normal injury roll the targeted PC makes a +40 Endurance test or becomes incorporeal. After that ANY time the target is even hit (even if not injured) it suffers 1 Brawn Drain (this is done as No Action), then work out injury rolls as normal.
I suggest every Warlock make sure he can protect vs Summoned creatures or you are looking to lose a few party members if these things are encountered in-mass.
