Dyson (human forrester) A mutilated corpse was recently recovered from a cave south of the small village of Black… something. Magic DNA testing was required to identify the body (pile of goo.) It is reported Mr. Dyson in some way provoked a large ogre and was subsequently torn limb from limb. Witnesses say he appeared to be concious for most of the ordeal, and that he took it like a champ. His neighbors report he was quiet and kept to himself, though he spent an inordinant amount of time with the squirrels in his backyard.
Injuries:
BROKEN LEGS (BOTH), CRIPPLED FOOT (RT), HORRIBLY SCARRED, CRIPPLED ARM(RT), CRIPPLED HAND, LOST EYE, BRAIN DAMAGE, JOINT INJURY, HORRIBLY SCARRED, CRIPPLED FOOT (LFT), LOST OTHER EYE, SHATTERED FOOT, CRIPPLED OTHER HAND, CRIPPLED LEG, SHATTERED JAW, SHATTERED FOOT, SEVERED LEFT ARM, SEVERED OTHER ARM, BROKEN COLLAR BONE, EARDRUM SHATTERED, SEVERED FOOT, BROKE OTHER COLLAR BONE, MINOR INTERNAL INJURIES, HORRIBLY SCARRED, SPINE DAMAGE, SEVERED LEG….
DIED WHEN I ROLLED A 1. "Now that's Hacktastic!!!!"

On the third day of the fifth month of our current year, a large mob of ravenous, bloodthirsty villagers attacked a small band of travellers as they unsuspectingly wandered into a small nameless, frontier town. The weary adventurers, seeking food and shelter, were cornered in a local drinking hall, where they made their stand. Vastly outnumbered, the heroes still managed to cut down scores of battle crazed locals, before being pushed back into the building which was subsequently barricaded shut then put to the torch. Though several of the party were able to escape the inferno, two warriors fell.
Martok (we here at B.P.P. would like to add "the Brave"), human man-at-arms, was seen bursting from the burning roof still wielding his grim flail, only to turn back into the flames to perish along side his brother in arms.
Rehbold Splintershield, dwarven knight, elite healer, never emerged from the building and is believed to have fallen when the roof collapsed in a hellish rain of fire and ash.
No doubt countless others fates were sealed when the dwarf cleric and the beserker walked into their firey tomb that day. Many owe their survival of past encounters to Rehbold's healing touch and Martok's unyielding presence on the battlefield.
They….
will be missed.

Many of the well trained bandits that waylaid adventures with there tales of their lost children perished that day. The well prepared fiery death trap may have seemed a sure bet to the sinister footpads, but they were ill prepared for the wrath of the weary travelers that day. Despite the small windows, pre-placed cart with tinderboxes and hours spent drilling, three of the five heros escaped to wreck a terrible toll on the town of robbers. Those who fell to these evil cutthroats will not be forgotten, but those who lived will serve as a reminder that evil acts come at a dire price, and heros make a poor choice as victims.

Three Fuarie are always, always a sign of ill luck. This fateful excursion just drives that point home, like a cutthroat's blade in the shadowy back alley we call life.

Corzant- human shield warrior – perished at the hands (err… fins) of angry fish men after nearly drowning in a sea side cave.
Tregarron- elven warlock- blasted to pieces in the tower of the White Rat by an insane arcane hermit… (Jeff….. again)
Scarcunthe "DoorBane"- trulk (brute I believe…) lept to his death in defense of the rest of his party, but not before slamming an iron fist into the head of the evil wizard flying up to destroy his friends. "It was a Good Death…"
We salute you "Hinge Splinterer" !!!!

The Mysterious Mage Kel -Lynn -Denar who died while tracking down bandits. His comrades brought back the evil villians heads. Among them was the head of an elf killer who looked remarkably like Kel's brother. Kel's body was never recovered. Long live Chucillio.
