Hello Everybody,
Been awhile since I said anything on here, but I thought I would put up a link to the Anime St. Louis site for everyone in case if people would like to get their hands on the information for it sooner then later

The only bright spot to that entire train wreck is the BPP guys…….and maybe that chick that was dressed in nothing but leopard print bra and underwear all weekend. (BigE you remember her)

Well ouch. I know the gun show made things suck downstairs, but I do enjoy Anime St. Louis despite the troubles it has from time to time. Hopefully the new location will help clear up the troubles from last year.

Neither the location or the gun show has anything to do with my bitterness towards AnimeStl. I WAS the security director at last years convention, and myself and my staff (a few of whom are hacktastic players i.e. Incredible Bulk) were treated like a redheaded step child (no offense if you are a redheaded step child). They blamed us for everything that went wrong, even if it wasn't a security issue! I think the staff there needs to grow up and listen to people that try and help them. I am on the Archon committee and tried to give their "president" (using that term very loosly) some advice on how to run a better convention, but they didn't listen. With all of the people there last year, they barely broke even. They spent way too much money on little things that I tried to talk them out of. Long story short, they ended up replacing us with out even talking to me in months, the few times I did talk with them, I told them I was interested in coming back and helping them again, but instead they kicked me to the curb. That is why I really hate AnimeStl.

I can see why you would not care for it. I'm merely there as a fan, perhaps a slight volunteer, and a friend so luckily I do not have to worry about those dealings. I'm sorry to hear things went sour and everything for you all though. Hopefully things will be a bit better this year for you all if you decide to come.
