I have a few games I went out of my way to make sure I could play as the years wore on. I figured there are a lot of folks out there that has done the same.

Not in any order, but give a few games you still play from old times or still would love to play.

Personally I have collected enough Netrunner cards that I can play it till the end of time. In my opinion Netrunner is one of the more balanced Wizards of the Coast games. Another one of my favorites is Jyhad… otherwise known and Vampire to the newer folks out there, another WoTC game. One of my other I love to play is a Steve Jackson game, Car Wars. Lets see… others are Axis and Allies, Starcraft, Master of Orion 2, Risk, X-Com… among quite a few others.

A couple old time games I would love to get involved in are Space Hulk and Trade Wars. One thing I have some hope for is that 3rd Edition Space Hulk is in development. Let us hope if was closer to 1st edition than 2nd.

Now I think of it I still do have quite a bit of an old AD&D game world I really enjoyed. Darksun. I would like to either run or play in that system again too. Nothing compares to the blazing sun of the Dark sun blistering down upon your face.

Actually I been gearing up to run Car Wars again. If it works out well I could give it a test drive around Chistmas to New Years. If that goes well I might be willing give it a try at TPK provided there is a table free to set it up. I have been rehashing old designs and coming up with a new list of class five vehicles. I have also been getting a few other new ones to tell the truth, after all… everyone loves a higher class brawl after ameteur night. Dont worry about my old classic class five list, it is not disappearing… matter fact there are some of them being brought over to my new stable… and you never know when one of the old vehicles will show up.

Matter fact, if anyone is interested from the Hacktastic Crew let me know. I will more than likely test run this thing on a Sunday. Same goes for any of the old crew of people I gamed with are invited, mayhaps some new people too…. that is one of the beauties of Car Wars, the more the merrier. I would say twelve people is the most I would want to run at one time.

As far as a game that gives a bit of the feel of Wooden Ships and Iron Men, give Sid Meyers Pirates a try on the puter. It does get old after a while, but I would still say it would be well worth the ten to twenty dollars.
