Is there any reason you can't use a Improvised weapon, in this example will say, a dwarf, to parry a spell?

With the Bulk gone, who is left to LEAP to the aide of the innocent?

yes a few.One its a DWARF its not a weapon even if you have the brawn to wield him. Secound ITS A DWARF not a table leg or a chair. But in truth its up to the guy running it

You parry the spell by making him with the dwarf.  Now the dwarf has to make the save.
