Adventure, Encounter, Round

I know what the dictionary says the words mean, however I just need to make  sure they have the same meaning in a game.

Adventure: The whole enchilada, shebang, ball of wax, etc.

Encounter: A chance meeting, to meet as an enemy:fight, etc.

Round: A sub-action in the above.

The reason I'm asking is because a lot of the Templates have a Talent that you may use "Once per ENCOUNTER for every 100 Build Points" your character is.

SO, say your character is in an ADVENTURE with others and y'all are bebopping

along and the GM says, "Everyone give me an INITIATIVE ROLL".

However, you just sort out what everyone is doing but have not yet

been attacked or seen anything and continue bebopping along.

Over the next rise, or around the next turn you ENCOUNTER "Big Bad Nasties",

and the fun begins.

Now the ROUND begins with everyone making a turn, including the bad guys.

A number of ROUNDS ensue and y'all kill every nasty.

Now the ENCOUNTER ends, correct???

Over the next hill you meet another group of nasties.

Now a NEW ENOUNtER begins, correct???

So basically what I'm trying to say is this:

In an ADVENTURE your character will have SEVERAL ENCOUNTERS (in which to

use his TALENTS) that include SEVERAL ROUNDS.

Stewie says, "Tis better to die by a Summoned falling Bear than to have a Smoke Demon go up your bunghole."

Yes,

every time you roll an initiative roll it is an encounter.

Rounds occur during an encounter.

Unless your name starts with a "D" then you can only use it once a game.

I know i read that in the fine print somewhere

You say "I don't need to drink to have fun." Great, no one does.
But why start a fire with flint and sticks
when they invented the lighter?

Good thing my name begins with an "O"

And don't forget, An encounter does not always mean a COMBAT encounter, The Gm can dictate that a given challenge such as a hallway of traps or a narrow bridge over a bottomless pit is classified as an Encounter so that abilities that are "Once per encounter per 100 build points" can be used to get past the traps.
