Alright, so to save space, I've made one thread to address a few questions that have come to my mind. They are as follows:
1. The Elf War Bow allows one to use it as a light weapon. Does this still require the two hands to use it as a light weapon or only one? Depending on the answer, I may have another question or two.
2. Some templates require that one has a circle mastery talent to enter into them. The one I am currently looking at is The Channel Mage from Vol. 4. It states "ANY (Sp) Mastery Talent such as (Sp) 1st Circle Arcane Mastery". Would I be able to use The Elite Summoner's (SP) 1st Circle Summon Mastery Talent to meet this prerequisite? Its seems to fit the needs as it is a (Sp) Mastery Talent.
Thanks,

1. I don't know the answer to this one, I'm leaning towards that it is still a two handed on though, since the weapon is still great size. It is just that the blades on the front of the bow are smaller since you couldn't put a great sword on their. However if you had the (Sp) Ogre Grip or Ogre Grip Gauntlets I am confident that you could hold it one-handed.
2. Yes, Since it is a Circle Mastery talent you could go from there to Channel Mage. However people who are Mystic Mages or Crook Spells would be unable to pick up Channel Mage

Response:
1. That was what I was leaning towards myself, I just wanted to get an official ruling on it from them, but the Ogre Grip idea is an interesting. Could make my idea possible.
2. That is what I was figuring as well, though I have brought it up to them in the past and got an iffy response, so yet again I am looking for a bit more of an official ruling on it.
Thanks for the input,

#1: The elf warbow is a great weapon that counts as a light weapon for the purpuses of defense and damage if used as a melee weapon. It does still require two hands to wield. It was desigened with the intention of never letting your bow from your grasp and getting a bit of a defense bump in the process.
As far as"holding it" you can easily "hold it" with one hand, but gain no benefits from it, such as defense. the same goes for the quarterstaff. kind of hard to "Touch" someone and still maintain a two-handed grip. that is not to say every warlock with a staff ALWAYS keeps two hands on his staff. If the question is "Holding it" one-handed then we are getting a bit too detailed for a simple rules system.
#2: The (Sp) 1st Circle Summon Mastery Talent does work as a prerequisite for The Channel Mage.
There you don't get more official than that.
Thanks for the inquiry instead of just assuming, nicely done.

Response:
1. Alright, that's what I thought. So could one use the Ogre Grip Gauntlets to weild the Elf Warbow as a one-handed melee weapon? Of course it would not work for ranged as that requires two-hands no matter what.
2. Cool, that gives me some fun new ideas to play with.
Yeah, its always good to grab an official response to keep from causing an uproar that could have been avoided.
Thanks for the answers,

Yes Gauntlets will work.
I would like to correct what I said earlier. Upon looking at the template I realized that it did not require a circle mastery just a caster mastery so Mystic Trickster's Mystic Mastery WILL work on this and so will crook spell

NO nothing on the Mystic Trickster will qualify you, though the Crook Spell will.
