     There is a Magic Item (Death Ward Talisman) that allows you to "Ignore the First Kill Injury Once Per Encounter) and then there is a Template Talent (The Red Rage Savage Sword Savage Trait) that allows you to "Ignore the First Kill Injury Once Per Adventure". 

     My question is this:  Do the two stack or is it a case that you can use one or the other, but not both?

They do not stack.

This is clearly stated on the Death Ward Talisman that the effect is not stackable. I don't understand how this could come into question.
